i hope that all of you are having a happy holiday season so far! i know i’m definitely getting in the spirit. yesterday, my husband + i finally picked out our christmas tree, strung the lights on, + decorated it with cool, vintage-looking ornaments. despite the fact that it was almost 70 degrees here in nashville (definitely different from decembers growing up in boston!), it still got me feelin’ all holidayish + festive. + i think the tree looks just lovely in our living room – what do you think?

so, now that our tree is up + decorated, i’m feeling all sorts of festive + giving. what does that mean for you? a giveaway! one lucky reader will win a $50 gift card to williams-sonoma. and the best news? the gift card is redeemable at williams-sonoma stores OR online, so even if you don’t have a williams-sonoma in your town, you can still enter to win!

Oh my gosh, I would so use a williams-sonoma gift card to get the Star Wars spatulas shaped like Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper. I’m a Star Wars geek. I’d probably put the rest towards Star Wars cookie molds or, if a practical mood strikes, a food processor.

What an awesome giveaway!! I just can’t decide what I would use the gift card for…there are so many things I would love to buy….a pizza stone or a Le Creuset Stoneware Square Covered Casserole Dish, or maybe some fun things for my kids like crustless sandwich presses and cute baking molds.

Love your tree and your pup! Ah….WS…I was just there yesterday shopping for gifts and saw many things I would enjoy myself :-) . At the top of the list would be a set of Painted Fig bowls that I bought for my best friend and her family. Christmas better get here soon, so I can give her the bowls, otherwise I might start using them myself :-)

That’s a very shapely tree — Frasier fir? I like it! As for the question, I’d put the $50 toward either a marble rolling pin or a tablecloth. Wants or needs….
